After one year of being stuck in Ireland I finally went away .

My management expected from me sacrifice my holidays plan . But I had asthma treatment to do . It had been putted off in cause of lock down . Lady who worked there advised me take a chance to do it whenever it was possible . She was totally right .

Travelling became very problematic from January 2021.

I filled my travel into a gap between lock down nb one and nb two .

What I disliked the most it was mandatory face mask even out door .

What I have been waited it was possibility go to church .

Fear of infection I would feel around. Everyone was afraid meet me up. Senior members of family called our meetings off.

But You may experience of love even during pandemic . My old friend agreed host me in her home .

I would count for her again. During corona paranoia whatever has been normal before became abnormal and dangerous .

Simple things began be difficult to do . Any type of service available only in covered faces . These who didn't want to wear it were abused by face mask fans. Fact of wearing face mask showed off attitude  and approach to pandemic. Making it mandatory forced them who weren't convinced to wear it  anyway .

Happily coffee shops and restaurants were opened before closure . 

I followed advice just to go to coffee shop and order anything ,so I can take off it from my face.

She came along and took me to her home . I will be forever grateful for hosting me during  that difficult time. Real friends are indeed where we need .Extremal situation show off truly faces . Sadly some individualists lose .

Pandemic showed a variety of emotions and behaviours.

From sociological point of view it has been interesting  to observe.

Generally I haven't done too much . I only visited doctor and dentist. Hairdressing was in face mask allowed only but I was permitted take it off. How it happened that this  beauty saloon doesn't exist anymore .

I have spend a few days not doing too much .It was better stay in the same place. I done some annual visits . 

It was still uncertain whether I'm going move to Warsaw or go ahead to Cracow .

 

My acquaintance journalist known well by a two years of What's App chats agreed that we must to meet up no matter what circumstances . I booked  studio flat I and took a train to Warsaw . In train others passengers didn't look at You in friendly way whenever I have tried take off cloth from my face. 

 I logged in there . 

I though abut going to famous shopping centre ,but when I saw crowd of people coming there I just quit . 

How ever  big shops were evaluated as more essential service then for example gym, or restaurant ,or cinema . 

It seemed totally out of control and crazy .

Perhaps I have been interested a lot in journalism I had an ambition plan to interview one guy from Bangladesh and another Nigerian . I was curious how is like to be foreigner in Poland .

But they didn't showed off . Probably they got afraid of virus or something else . It doesn't matter . Coming along meeting had a meaning . She would make afternoon perhaps it was  lots to do . Alright . We recognised each other even in covered faces . One of the popular network coffee shop was located nearby . We have met after two years chatting on What's App.

 It was nothing to do more over there . I took nice cultural Palace photo. It was roadwork in progress what made this task not easy to do so. By the way . My selfie looked great on onet. 

I had treatment of asthma arranged in Wieliczka salt mines .This is unique place . It had been salt mine in middle ages .Salt was very valuable mineral during these times. Currently they transformed that place in  tourism attraction.

Because atmosphere of salt caves is very friendly for asthmatic patients they are welcome for treatment. 

I meant to come for in May. We both remember reasons why it wasn't possible attend there in that term .

We putted  it on October .I really wasn't enthusiastic about asthma treatment in face cover ,but it was difficult to predict anything. Scenario of pandemic turned in awful way spiralled fear of unseen enemy in ridiculous manner .

So If not then I would not go for another months in fact I have stayed home until September next year.

Back to October 2020 . I haven't any problems with travelling from Cracow to Wieliczka as train service has been operated well .I have go confused in town perhaps I got off too early. finally I have found the way. 

I was just only one hotel guest . Some few arrived on the next days. 

I have met a good four stars standard .Room was seriously comfy . I couldn't understand why however hair dryer was off from service . Potentially it was a danger of virus spread especially if I was just only one guest staying in room.

Like always I enjoyed watching Polish channels on tv and reading and writing . Park has been only one attraction except salt mine . 

I loved food served in hotel. I went for an offer for patients coming for treatment or to take away. Is hard keep diet on holidays when I don't have my magic non- stick  pans. In Salt Grant Hotel not only quality of dishes  served matters but presentation as well . Even something simply like liver with potatoes mash and beetroots in that expose became a masterpiece .Salads were also great created . 

We were going underground from 10 am to 3 pm . Because sanitary restrictions groups were smaller then normally .Also types of activities we had limited to them which were safe . Temperature has been taken every morning . They were aware about social distancing pretty well . 

Underground beauty caught me from the very first sight .

I imagined just lying on the sunbeds for all time of staying there but we did active exercises such as Pilates , stretching ,aerobic ,dancing and workout on machines .O wow .I was so excited to be able to use this stuff  underground.

It's impressive how many exercises is possible to do just with brush stick .

Just except meeting with doctor there and annoying sanitary restrictions , which made my staying  more difficult to bear with it was a good idea to go abroad again after one year.

Final call for passengers returning to Dublin brought me to the Balice Cracow Airport .

Temperature was checked on everyone. I have got giving out for taking face mask off even I had been so far from others .

What did have any sense ?Probably nothing. Post office late opening hours surprised me positively in fact I sent post cards from Cracow.

Day before another lock down had been proclaimed . I knew already that all was going be closed down again .

Life is about catching moments . I ordered Irish coffee and tiramisu before flying out. It was occasion one for a million .Come on. They announced level nb five. Life was too much unpredictable to care about calories .

After lovely refreshment plus nice chat with girl in coffee shop I wished them a good luck and headed off to aeroplane .

One of stewards became extremally restricted about wearing face mask policies .She called me and warned a three times.

Finishing that game I went sleep hidden  under my coat. Unfortunately Poland went on the red list .

That classification has been changing  a whole the time. Basically when You decided to go You would never no whether You were back without  or on quarantine , or possibly getting stuck over destination point .

I had to stay isolated for two weeks. 

Dark times came along for travellers during a second lockdown . My friends rushed home for Xmas even though quarantine. Only in emergency case going abroad was permitted . I didn't go anywhere. I couldn't see anything enjoyable in vacation in face mask . My big Birthday I have spent alone .I Another week in May ? No any trip abroad at whole. 

We got allowed sit in the gardens from summer time. 

A chance to take vacation came along in September .

My old friend chose Zadar .It was excellent choice . I arrived earlier , she got later on.  I got off from bus in the city centre, but I was supposed leave later at the bus station, so my way to our accommodation took a longer .I had a tour around already after loading . Zadar represented all what I would love to ; lovely Old Town, beautiful Adriatic Sea and simple and nice food. Even burger tasted differently. 

Our apartment has been well located ,close to the bus station and supermarkets . They still had Mc' Coffee .

We discovered a good restaurant outdoor . We need to remember Italian legacy as Croatia has been a part of Venice.

Mediterranean Sea is around in some parts of country . 

But Zadar it's all about Adriatic Sea. That's Dalmatia .

Obviously I would not leave without cruise .

We also visited natural resort with beautiful lakes .Absolutely brilliant weather encouraged to take a sun bath and swim .

I don't have any words to say how incredible feeling it was to be on vacation again .

Croatia wasn't restricted as other countries . They opened seats inn restaurants earlier than others EU. 

I had non serious attitude to all these recommended guidelines and all madness  which was happening around.

 

My friend respected that . During transportation in the National Park in crowned trains we must to be careful. 

But that beautiful nature recompensed all inconvenience. Finishing became kind of nervous as we took another routes around. She was so nervous .The last bus was leaving soon .Our sightseeing became so tiny . Well . i had a bigger problem. My return flight was scheduled in the morning on the next day. 

But finally we left on time.
